playing around with picmonkey i was able to create this lovely lyric pic. it took me a few days to do cuz i didn't have much time and then i accidentally deleted it without saving. :/ but to my delight i was able to recreate it in no time since it had already been done. plus i like how it turned out the second time. haha

.Painting.

Whenever friends/family tell me that they are redoing a room and repainting it i normally offer my services as a painter. they sometimes just look at me like, really you want to help paint? I'm like yeah i like to paint, its so much fun!

Well this last week was my week to paint. Yippee!! lol.
 We are in the process of moving and before we move in to our new house we needed to paint and put new carpet in. We were originally planning on painting Thursday and Friday then new carpet sometime after that. but how it really went down was... late Tuesday night dad gets text, carpet guy coming Thursday, bright and early. Dad calls Auntie to ask if she can watch the littles in the morning. Mom tells Mason and I to be up and ready to paint tomorrow(Wednesday). Auntie picks up littles early wed. morning. Mom, Mason and I stop at Starbucks and head up the mountain. Grammy meets us there. With the music up we paint all day and don't get back home until 11pm. It was quite fun. :)
Mom and Mason ripped up the old carpet, Grammy and I painted the 3 rooms and stairwell. Mason would laugh at me and say, "Mal you're getting old, you're going grey!" (hence me leaning in the wet wall paint which is grey) It was funny :)

Mom and I did the kitchen cupboards Thursday while carpet was going in. and Friday I did the 2 bathrooms and the 3 small sections in the front room. and yes I still like painting. :) 

mom was going to throw away my jeans with paint all over them i was like 'no those are my favorite jeans! they are artistic and now i don't have to buy them pre-painted.' she then kindly washed them for me :) thanks mama <3 

now our cabin is already to be moved into!! yay!! i can't wait!
